These terms govern your access to and use of the MERIDSTREET platform. Please read them carefully — by using the Service, you agree to be bound by them.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and MERIDSTREET ("MERIDSTREET", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of our market-intelligence platform, including the news feed, global events map, market data, and the "Ask Merid AI" assistant (together, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service — or by clicking to accept where that option is presented — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms include an arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver (see "Dispute resolution & arbitration") that affect how disputes are resolved, and important limitations on our liability. Please read them carefully.
MERIDSTREET aggregates news, market data, and global event information from third-party sources and presents it alongside automated, AI-generated analysis. The Service is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a trading, brokerage, execution, custody, or advisory platform.
We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service — including features, data sources, availability, and these Terms — at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service or any part of it.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that: (a) you meet these requirements; (b) all information you provide is accurate and current; (c) you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law; and (d) your use complies with all laws, rules, and regulations that apply to you.
Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to keep your details accurate and current. You are responsible for:
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe an account has been misused or poses a security, legal, or reputational risk. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
You agree not to, and not to permit or enable anyone else to:
We may investigate and take any action we consider appropriate for suspected violations, including removing content, suspending access, and reporting to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities.
"Ask Merid AI" produces automated analysis in response to your prompts. You understand and agree that:
MERIDSTREET provides information and AI-generated analysis for informational purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, trading, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, or a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset.
MERIDSTREET is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, or fiduciary, and no content on the Service creates any advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and us. Markets carry risk, and any decision you make is your own. You should consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting. Please see our full Disclaimer.
"User Content" means anything you submit to the Service, including AI prompts, feedback, watchlists, and messages. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant MERIDSTREET a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and use that User Content to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to comply with law.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We may remove or refuse any User Content at our discretion. Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
The Service — including its design, software, code, text, graphics, compilations, and the MERIDSTREET name and logo — is owned by MERIDSTREET or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.
We respect intellectual-property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to legal@meridstreet.com including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location; (c) your contact details; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
We may remove allegedly infringing material and, in appropriate cases, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
The Service displays news, data, and event information originating from third-party publishers and data providers. That content belongs to its respective owners, is subject to their own terms, and does not represent the views of MERIDSTREET. We do not endorse, adopt, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party content, or of any external site we link to, and we are not responsible for it.
You acknowledge and agree that your access to and use of the Service, and any reliance on information or AI output obtained through it, is entirely at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for, and all risk of loss resulting from, your use of the Service and any financial or other decisions you make. Trading and investing may result in the loss of some or all of your capital.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MERIDSTREET disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; that the Service is free of viruses or harmful components; or that any information or AI output will be accurate, reliable, or complete. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from the Service creates any warranty not expressly stated here. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will MERIDSTREET or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or trading or investment losses, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Service, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.
These limitations form an essential basis of the agreement between you and us and apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MERIDSTREET and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms or any law; (d) your infringement of any third-party right; or (e) any decision you make or action you take based on the Service. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defence of any matter subject to indemnification, at your expense, and you agree to cooperate.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Except where prohibited by law, you and MERIDSTREET agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court.
You and MERIDSTREET agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@meridstreet.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. The exact arbitration rules, forum, and any consumer-protection carve-outs will depend on your jurisdiction; nothing in this section waives any right that cannot lawfully be waived.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice or cause, including if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including User Content licences, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law — will survive termination.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MERIDSTREET is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be communicated more prominently. Changes take effect when posted unless stated otherwise. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
