How we source news

MeridStreet's feed is built from publishers' own public feeds. For each story we show the headline, a link back to the original article, and our own short AI-generated summary, we do not reproduce article text. We favour direct publisher feeds over aggregators, and we only include a source that publishes a public feed and permits this kind of headline-and-link use. Because of this, the roster of publishers evolves over time as feeds and terms change.

Market & data providers

Beyond the news feed, MeridStreet's terminals and calendar draw on public and official data providers. Market and economic figures are sourced from third parties and, where noted, are delayed, estimated, or derived rather than real-time.

• Markets & crypto price and quote data for currencies, commodities and cryptocurrencies from third-party market-data providers.
• Economic calendar official statistical agencies and central banks, including US agencies (via FRED, BLS and BEA), the ECB, the Bank of England, Eurostat and the BIS.
• Global macro the World Bank, the IMF, the OECD, the US Office of Financial Research, and ECB reference exchange rates.
• Trade & dependency data IMF trade statistics and UN Comtrade for bilateral trade relationships.
• Stock reference data exchange and regulator listings for the US, India, UK, Europe and Japan.
• Company disclosures & regulatory filings official filing feeds used to surface disclosures for the companies on your watchlist: the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (EDGAR), Japan's Financial Services Agency (EDINET), and UK regulatory news via the Financial Conduct Authority's National Storage Mechanism (RNS). We show the filing type, a plain-language label and a link to the official document; filings appear as they are published by the regulator and are not exhaustive.
• Live broadcasts official central-bank and news-broadcaster streams embedded from YouTube.

Maritime figures such as vessel counts and delays on the Chokepoints terminal are modeled estimates, not a live vessel-tracking feed, and the platform's various risk and macro scores are derived models. See our Disclaimer for how to treat this information.
