CAG report flags fall in Delhi’s contribution to national GDP
A recent report by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has found that Delhi's contribution to the country's GDP has decreased. This decline is attributed to slower growth in the state's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) compared to the national economy. The report highlights that while tax collections have driven revenue growth, a decline in non-tax revenue and limited capital investment have contributed to this downward trend.
